On Friday, Girl Scout Leader Debbie Keim returned with the Girl Scouts and Brownies to plant daffodil bulbs in the open space near the southwest side of the oval, where a tree fell during a winter storm earlier this year.
With plenty of enthusiasm, smiles, and teamwork, they helped prepare our park for a beautiful spring! A heartfelt thank-you to Debbie, the volunteers, parents, and caregivers for sharing their time and energy with our community. You’re making a beautiful difference! And as if the afternoon couldn’t have been more special, we were treated to a wonderful sighting of the amazing hawk in the Cadman Park oval while everyone was planting. What a memorable way to spend an autumn afternoon in the park!
