We’re excited to introduce our Cadman Park Conservancy intern, Rosemary Sanders!
Rosemary is a junior at Utrecht High School who first connected with the Conservancy last spring as a volunteer. She later became an SYEP intern, working under NYC Parks Gardener Jessica Kulig. Since then, she has remained involved as an intern, driven by her passion for environmental science and is working on an initiative to create a compost area (green and brown, no food scraps) for Cadman and our adjacent parks.
The Conservancy is delighted to introduce Julius Kohn-Blank and Georgia Karshan, juniors at Packer Collegiate High School.
They are taking on a leadership role by organizing fellow students who want to volunteer in Cadman Park, helping to nurture and maintain the space. We look forward to welcoming their student volunteers this spring and are grateful for their initiative in supporting the park.
From our weekly gardening circle, pollinator garden, park cleanups, mulch fests, tulip and daffodil plantings, to our Juneteenth and DJ in the Park events, to our Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day Ceremonies, and much more. We are always looking for volunteers and team leaders!
