Grass

Update on the North Oval: As you can see, phase two of the reseeding of the oval, closest to the Brooklyn War Memorial, took place in the fall. Despite the cold weather, the grass in that area is still green.

This coming spring, we are working with the Parks Department to securely fence the entire area so the grass can establish itself and have a chance to grow and thrive. This area sees a lot of use, especially in the early mornings by our beloved dog community. We want to ensure it is restored as a lawn and enjoyed by all. Thank you to the Parks Department for their continuous care and to the community for your patience.
