Join Our Wednesday Morning Gardening Volunteers 9:30-11:30 AM

Meet NYC Parks Gardener Nathan Grozan for a rewarding morning of gardening.  We hope you'll join us in caring for the park's plants and gardens!

Tomorrow morning, we’ll be meeting at the north end of the park and working in the “Shady Walk” near the Brooklyn Bridge entrance.

There are several sections throughout this large bed that need weeding. We’ll be focusing on bindweed, thistle, and dogbane, and Nathan will point out the plants and let us know which areas to tackle.

There are also a few yew-pruning projects on that side of the park for anyone who would like to take a break from weeding and try something different.

See everyone tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at the north end of the park (the opposite end of the park from the Juneteenth beds)!
