Trees

It may still be summer, but some of the open spaces in the park are already beginning to look a bit like fall!

If you've noticed bark scattered beneath the London plane trees, there's no cause for concern.  These remarkable trees naturally shed their bark as part of their growth cycle, and periods of intense heat can make this process even more noticeable.  It's one of the ways they adapt and protect themselves during the summer months.
